“Caesars Palace Las Vegas is undergoing a $75 million renovation of its original Roman Tower, which will soon be unveiled as the new Julius Tower. This high-rise wing is the latest addition to a $1 billion investment that solidifies Caesars Palace as a premier resort on the Las Vegas Strip. The newly revamped Julius Tower, featuring 587 modern and stylish rooms and suites, will open its doors to guests on January 1, 2016.

As Caesars Palace approaches its 50th anniversary, the renovation of the Julius Tower marks another step in the ongoing transformation of this iconic Las Vegas resort, which has welcomed millions of visitors since it first opened on August 5, 1966. The resort’s next major addition will be the launch of Mr. Chow Las Vegas in December.

The Julius Tower is named in honor of Julius Caesar, the first and most famous of all Caesars, symbolizing a rebirth of the original tower at Caesars Palace. Located in the heart of the resort, the Julius Tower provides easy access to the casino floor and all of the resort’s top-tier amenities.

Gary Selesner, regional president of Caesars Palace, stated, “As we approach our milestone golden anniversary, we continue to reinvent both Rome and Las Vegas. We set the standard for luxury nearly 50 years ago, and we are proud to keep raising the bar. We’re excited for our guests to experience the all-new Julius Tower.”

The Julius Tower rooms, designed by Michael Medeiros of KNA Design, feature a modern yet classically inspired interior with a neutral color palette accented by freesia yellow and Aegean blue. The décor combines textured and reflective fabrics to create a serene escape from the lively casino atmosphere. A custom-upholstered headboard with bronzed framed mirror panels adds a touch of elegance to each room.

Guest amenities in the Julius Tower include 55-inch TVs with SONIFI systems, luxurious Beauty Rest Bouvet Island Mattresses, a specially curated minibar, and English-themed Gilchrist & Soames toiletries. The bathrooms are designed with two-toned stone walls, a double sink floating vanity, and a glass-enclosed stone shower with both handheld and overhead showerheads. Custom vanity mirrors inspired by iconic Caesars Palace columns and select rooms with custom-designed chaise lounges are also part of the experience.

Caesars Palace is planning a year-long celebration for its 50th anniversary in 2016. With the addition of the Julius Tower, the exclusive Nobu Hotel, and the Forbes 4-star Laurel Collection, Caesars Palace continues to lead as a top luxury destination in Las Vegas.”
