“Las Vegas is abuzz with new boutique hotel openings this year, and one of the most anticipated is the Delano Las Vegas, set to open at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino later this year. The hotel is now accepting reservations for stays beginning September 1.

Delano Las Vegas promises to deliver exactly what the modern luxury traveler desires: a non-smoking, all-suite boutique experience with 1,100 rooms to choose from. Guests will be greeted by a striking entrance featuring a massive boulder from the Nevada desert, along with a walkway inspired by the colors and textures of the Mojave Desert. The reception area will feature a stunning art installation composed of small rocks suspended from the ceiling.

The guestrooms will exude a “”South Beach meets Las Vegas”” vibe with a clean, white, and neutral color palette. Each suite, one of the largest in the city at 725 square feet, will include a spa-style bathroom, oversized flat-screen TV, wet bar, desk, living area, and its own powder room.

The hotel will offer five distinct dining and drinking options. Just off the main lobby, 3940 Coffee + Tea will serve gourmet coffee, tea, fresh juices, and breakfast pastries each morning, with a tea cart offering loose-leaf teas and traditional accompaniments in the afternoon, and small plates, cocktails, wine, and beer in the evening. A nearby restaurant, yet to be named, will feature a “”historic farmhouse meets urban kitchen”” vibe for breakfast and lunch. The Franklin lounge will provide a sophisticated atmosphere with nightly entertainment, including live performances and music from up-and-coming DJs, along with craft cocktails. On the 64th floor, Rivea, replacing MIX, will serve French and Italian cuisine from renowned chef Alain Ducasse, with an adjacent lounge offering an expansive outdoor patio and extraordinary views of the Las Vegas Strip.

Delano Las Vegas will also feature its own private pool, located just steps from the sand and surf of Mandalay Bay Beach and wave pool, scheduled to open in 2015. The BATHHOUSE Spa will offer signature treatments, including the Double the Pleasure Massage performed by two therapists in sync, as well as treatments inspired by traditional rituals from India, Asia, Europe, and the islands.

This luxurious new addition to the Las Vegas hotel scene promises to be a stunning destination for travelers seeking both relaxation and excitement.”
