“Wilderness Safaris has just unveiled its latest property, the luxurious Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp. The camp features eight stylish en-suite tents, including one family unit, each with a shaded outdoor lounge area offering stunning views of the surrounding desert.
The main area of the camp includes a lounge, bar, dining room, library, fire pit, swimming pool, and sun deck. Located in the remote Skeleton Coast, this camp is an ideal spot to experience some of Africa’s best desert wildlife. Guests can take half-day or full-day game drives to see desert-adapted elephants, gemsbok, giraffes, springbok, brown hyenas, scrub hares, and occasionally lions and rhinos.
One of the best ways to experience this new property is through a six-night ‘Fly-in Safari’ offered by Gane and Marshall. The journey begins in Windhoek and includes two days at Etosha National Park, one of South Africa’s premier game reserves. The final three nights are spent at the new Skeleton Coast Camp, with a full-day flight over the rugged Skeleton Coast, where you can view shipwrecks and a resident seal colony. Prices start at $4,800 per adult.”
