“Vivienne Westwood, a pioneer of punk fashion in the 1970s and the designer behind the iconic wedding dress worn by Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City, is now making her mark in the world of hospitality. The British fashion label has introduced its first venture into this space with the Vivienne Westwood Penthouse at The London West Hollywood.

This luxurious penthouse, part of a $25 million renovation, spans two levels on the top floor of the hotel and will begin accepting reservations next month. Priced at $25,000 per night, it offers guests the largest suite in Los Angeles, complete with a 5,000-square-foot private rooftop terrace.

Upon entering the penthouse, guests are greeted by a spacious foyer leading to a Grand Salon sitting room. The room features Vivienne Westwood-designed cushions, upholstery, bespoke cabinetry, built-in bookcases, Verre Eglomise mirror panels, and the designer’s signature ‘squiggle’ rug. The suite’s bedroom boasts a grand four-poster king-sized bed and an ensuite dressing room, while the walls are adorned with a Vivienne Westwood wall hanging titled “Adventure,” reflecting her creativity and dedication to climate and conservation efforts.

The penthouse is filled with natural light, thanks to two atriums with skylights. The east-facing atrium even includes a raised pool and waterfall feature. Additional amenities include a media room, a full-sized kitchen, a dining room, and the expansive rooftop terrace, which can accommodate up to 300 guests.

Guests staying in the penthouse will enjoy exclusive perks, including a private hour of shopping at the Vivienne Westwood store in West Hollywood with a special discount, his and her gift bags from the brand, and branded amenities within the suite.

This debut hospitality venture by Vivienne Westwood is as stylish and unique as her most famous creations.”
