“One of the best things about coming out of quarantine is the chance to travel again, and this summer has brought a lot of exciting new openings and renovations. One place that’s really catching our eye is The Langham, Boston, which has just reopened after a two-year, multimillion-dollar renovation. Here’s what you need to know before you visit:

Inspired Design: The Langham, Boston was originally the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, built in 1922. The renovation preserved key historic features like the original brass windows and the terrazzo floor in the restaurant, Grana, which still has the Federal Reserve seal. The design firm, Richmond International, incorporated elements that nod to the building’s banking history, such as green glass lamps, banking drawers, custom carpets inspired by US dollar bills, and a coin-like sculpture in Grana.

Prime Location: The Langham is perfectly situated at the corner of Franklin and Pearl, near Boston’s Financial District. It’s a short walk to popular spots like the North End, Boston Harbor, the Seaport, Downtown Crossing, and Faneuil Hall. Slightly further but still accessible are Boston Commons, Back Bay, and Fenway Park. The Langham has partnerships offering special access to local attractions, including Classic Harbor Line cruises and the Museum of Fine Arts.

Celebrate in Style: The Langham is all about celebrations, and the Boston location is no exception. Whether you’re dining at Grana, enjoying drinks at The Fed cocktail pub, or hosting an event like a wedding or anniversary, the celebration theme runs throughout the hotel. There’s a dedicated team to help plan memorable events in the new Lincoln and Wilson Ballrooms.

Chairman’s Suite: The Chairman’s Suite is set to be one of Boston’s top suites, featuring a king bedroom, hardwood floors, a living room with a baby grand piano, and a spacious dining room for eight people.

Exclusive Club Lounge: The Langham Club is a special lounge available for guests for the first time in Boston. Located on the 8th floor, this luxurious space offers meals throughout the day, including breakfast, tea, and cocktail hour. It’s a perfect spot for working or socializing in privacy.

Boston, here we come!”
