“In Las Vegas, you can enjoy a meal surrounded by priceless paintings at Picasso in the Bellagio Hotel, or dine with caricatures of Broadway stars at Sardi’s in New York. But if you want to combine gourmet dining with a display of some of the greatest cars ever made, you’ll need to visit the Miami Supercar Room in South Florida.
The Miami Supercar Room is the creation of Elo, a British-born car enthusiast and former model who also owns the London Motorcar Museum. This 15,000 square-foot automotive gallery blends rare cars, fine dining, and Miami nightlife. Elo’s vision is to give South Florida’s passionate car enthusiasts a platform to showcase their collections while providing a unique dining experience in Wynwood. He hopes to partner with local chefs to present their best dishes in this high-octane setting.
Among the impressive cars on display are a 1955 SL 300 Mercedes Gullwing, a 1929 Rolls-Royce Bootch, a 1958 Maserati 450 S racer, a 1961 Ferrari 196 SP, and the 2007 Shelby Supercar Ultimate Aero TT, which holds the title of the fastest production car in the world. Other highlights include a 1937 Bugatti Atlantic derivative called the “Bugnaughty” and a 1953 Lamborghini tractor, the only one in America and one of just three remaining worldwide.
Dining at the Miami Supercar Room is a special experience, with six outdoor areas available for reservation at $3,000 each for the evening, accommodating up to six people. Each area has a knowledgeable associate who can discuss the car on display and the Chef de Cuisine will visit to talk about the day’s specials and guest preferences.
The menu features seasonal and multicultural dishes that highlight the best of South Florida’s food scene. Besides house specialties, there’s a rotating featured restaurant each month, offering diners a chance to enjoy exclusive dishes from local restaurants in collaboration with the Miami Supercar Rooms. Guests can choose to dine privately or in an open area with a view of the bar and DJ.
The resident music director, Zoel, who was formerly a VJ on MTV Latin America, brings the latest sounds from South America, Miami, Ibiza, and London. The venue also hosts guest DJs and producers. The DJ booth is a customized 1971 Chevrolet C30 pickup.
Located in the Wynwood Arts District, the Miami Supercar Rooms is open from 10:00 am Wednesday through Monday, with dinner reservations available from 6:00 pm to 1:00 am Friday through Sunday. The Auto Art Gallery is open to the public Wednesday through Monday, with free admission from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
